Romans 12:2 says that Christians need to be transformed by the renewing of their minds.  And yet, many people may not realize that we truly do have the power to re-program our minds (aka mental programs) with regular and effective self-talk.  In my early 20's, I was first exposed to the power of effective self-talk by the book:  "What To Say When You Talk To Yourself" by Shad Helmstetter, PhD.  The concepts I learned from his research and book were really convincing and helped shape the course of my life.  I also felt that the principles of self-talk were very much in line with what the Bible says about the power of our words.

For many years now athletes, entrepreneurs, entertainers and other success-oriented people have used the power of positive affirmations to re-program their minds for personal growth and achievement.  However, Self-Talk from the Scriptures is the world's first audio affirmation program created directly from the Bible to help believers replace their old thought processes with truths from God's word.  This program isn't just quoting Scriptures - it is quoting scriptures in the form of proven effective self-talk affirmations which are: positive, present tense and repeated in the voice of 1st and 2nd person.
